Li-ion Tamer Gen 3 Gas Sensors
Li-ion Tamer Gen 3 Gas Sensors are designed to detect lithium-ion battery electrolyte solvent vapours released during an off-gas event, providing the earliest possible warning of battery failure before thermal runaway occurs. In addition to off-gas detection, each sensor also monitors temperature and humidity within the space. Sensor readings are transmitted via CANbus to the Li-ion Tamer Hub, enabling continuous monitoring and fast response across battery modules, racks, cabinets and room-level installations.

Li-ion Tamer Gen 3 sensors detect electrolyte solvent vapours released during the earliest stage of lithium-ion battery failure. This off-gas event typically occurs well before smoke, flame or thermal runaway, allowing time for mitigation actions to be initiated.
Environmental monitoring built in
In addition to off-gas detection, each sensor provides temperature and humidity monitoring of the surrounding space. This delivers additional visibility into environmental conditions that may contribute to battery stress, storage risk or system performance.
Simple integration via CANbus
Gen 3 sensors transmit off-gas, temperature and humidity readings via CANbus to the Li-ion Tamer Hub. This supports streamlined system integration and scalable monitoring across battery racks, cabinets and energy storage environments.
