ACG+
Looking after the air you breathe The ACG+ is a unique compressed breathing air monitor designed to be used in a fixed installation near your air compressor or as an ideal portable solution for multi-point air monitoring.
List of Benefits
- Portable or fixed
- Mains, DC and up to 12 hour rechargable battery power options
- Proprietary dew point sensor lock out system for fast start up - ideal for multi point checking
- Proprietary humidifier option for continual use to prolong electrochemical sensor lives (CO & O2)
- East-connect purge system - helps ensure accurate readings in minutes
- Robust carry case
- Sensors now even easier to change out
- NiMH or Lithium battery options
- 90 days of datalogging easily retrieved via USB connection
The ACG+ offers the user peace of mind as it continually monitors Oxygen (O2), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), dew point (H2O) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and also has a sample port to check for oil mist. Continual monitoring or periodic checking of these parameters aids the user in achieving compliance with breathing air standards and other local regulations, whilst ensuring those employees breathing the air are safeguarded against potentially fatal contamination issues. Housed in a robust case when used portably or in a purpose built housing when used in a fixed position, the ACG+ is simple to install, use and maintain and has a low cost of ownership.
The ACG+ offers 90 days of datalogging, easily retrieved with a USB connection and has audio/visual alarms and a common relay to connect to a beacon or to shut down the compressor should an alarm be triggered.
Employers have a duty of care to their employees to ensure the air they breathe is of the best quality possible and contaminants such as CO and VOCs are maintained at very low levels as they can cause serious health effects, particularly as the effects of such contaminants are increased at pressure. Even new, well-sited and well-maintained compressors can sometimes fail and contaminants can also enter into the breathing air through the intake. As this can theoretically happen at any time, continual monitoring is a safer and more accurate best practice than "spot checking" such as using colorimetric tube testing kits at intervals.
The ACG+ can be used with any breathing air compressor and simply needs to be connected after the compressor and before the end user (or cylinder) to ensure that contaminants can be detected before they reach the intended destination. The pressure needs to be regulated down to between 5 to 10 Bar. The ACG+ is most commonly situated in the compressor room but when used portably it can be used in most environments.
