Rugged Real-Time Personal Radiation Dosimetry
The RAE Systems DoseRAE Pro is a direct-reading, alarming electronic personal dosimeter that uses a diode and scintillation crystal to detect X-ray and gamma radiation. Real-time monitoring of personal dose and dose-rate allows immediate action to reduce radiation exposure.
A high-sensitivity CsI scintillator combined with an energy-compensated PIN diode delivers wide dose rate and energy coverage for maximum personal protection. Prominent visible, audible and vibration alarms can each be individually enabled, and a Stay-Time countdown timer warns users when a set time limit in a radiation area is reached.
Simple two-button operation minimises training and support costs. Multiple units can be combined with the optional PRR-1 reader and software to form a complete dosimetry system, with fast near-field communication for wireless data transfer.
