Gas Transmitters

A gas transmitter is the workhorse of fixed gas detection. Mounted at a specific location within a facility, it continuously monitors the surrounding atmosphere for a target gas and outputs a 4-20 mA analogue signal or digital communication to a connected controller, alarm panel or safety system. When gas concentration exceeds a preset threshold the signal changes, triggering whatever response the system is configured to deliver – local alarm, ventilation activation, emergency shutdown or remote notification.

Our transmitter range covers combustible gas in %LEL, oxygen deficiency and enrichment, toxic gases including H2S, CO, NH3, Cl2, HCN, NO2 and SO2, CO2 using NDIR technology, volatile organic compounds using PID, and specialist gases for semiconductor, pharmaceutical and cryogenic applications.
