Precision optical analysis for gas purity and concentration
The Gas Detector Model FI-21 is a precision gas analyser adapted to measure the percentage-volume concentration of any commonly used gas in a mixture of air or oxygen, for solvents, fumigation, gas purity and anaesthetic gases.
The standard instrument is calibrated for eight selectable gas readings on a direct digital display. The FI-21 operating principle uses highly accurate CCD and Fourier analysis technology combined with electronic circuitry to deliver a direct digital readout.
Equipped with a built-in sample-draw pump for ease of use, the FI-21 also logs measurement data and requires few consumable parts, helping to keep maintenance costs low.

The standard instrument is calibrated for eight selectable gases, chosen with simple key operation and shown on a direct digital display.
It uses an optical interferometric method with highly accurate CCD and Fourier analysis technology to provide a direct digital readout.
The FI-21 draws samples using a built-in internal pump, which stops operating while a reading is taken. Measurement is by batch method at atmospheric pressure.
It is used for measuring gas concentrations of solvents and fumigation gases, gas purity, fuel calories and anaesthetic gases.
It runs on four C-size alkaline batteries giving approximately 20 hours of use without sampling, or an optional AC adaptor.
