Rapid Gamma and Neutron Threat Detection
The RAE Systems NeutronRAE II is a personal radiation detector that rapidly detects both gamma and neutron sources, including neutrons from weapons-grade Plutonium. Its high sensitivity can alert the wearer to a radiation threat well before they might be exposed to health-threatening levels.
Sensitive CsI and LiI scintillators provide excellent search capability and fast response. The detector displays a continuous dose rate readout in μR/h or μSv/h for gamma radiation and counts per second for neutron radiation, while a dose accumulator tracks total gamma exposure.
A loud audible buzzer, bright flashing LEDs and a vibration alarm can each be disabled separately. Designed in compliance with the IEEE ANSI N42.32 standard, the water-resistant, IP-67 immersible NeutronRAE II offers reliable operation in wet environments and easy decontamination.
