The O2NE+ is an oxygen depletion monitor ideal for use where there is a threat of a leak or build-up of inert gases such as nitrogen, argon or helium. It provides two audio visual alarms pre-set at 19.5% and 18% oxygen.

KEY BENEFITS

  •   Up to 10 year life on O2 cell
  •   Calibration period of 12 months
  •   Plug and play ready to go
  •   Repeater included for remote warning ability
  •   Suitable for helium detection applications

Protecting people from oxygen depletion caused by inert gas leaks

The O2NE+ is an oxygen depletion monitor ideal for use where there is a threat of a potential leak or build-up of inert gas such as nitrogen, argon or helium. It provides two audio visual alarms, pre-set at 19.5% and 18% oxygen but adjustable, to warn personnel of a leak that could deplete oxygen to a dangerous level.

The use of inert and speciality gases is widespread across medical and industrial settings, from MRI rooms where helium cools superconductors to cryopreservation using liquid nitrogen. Should these gases leak or build up in a confined space, they deplete oxygen and pose a danger to employees and visitors.

The main sensor unit is wall mounted at normal working head height in areas identified by risk assessment, while repeater units powered from the main unit sit at entrances to indicate whether it is safe to enter. With up to a 10 year O2 cell life, a 12 month calibration period and plug and play installation, the O2NE+ is simple to deploy. Although this product is no longer available for sale, it remains supported by Gastech Technical Services and Support.

It is an oxygen depletion monitor that warns of falling oxygen levels caused by leaks or build-up of inert gases such as nitrogen, argon and helium.

It provides two audio visual alarms pre-set at 19.5% and 18% oxygen, which can be adjusted as required.

Applications include MRI rooms, cryopreservation, tissue preservation, deep freeze pathology and other areas where inert gases are stored or piped.

The repeater unit takes power from the main analyser and is placed at entrances to let staff or visitors know whether it is safe to enter.

The O2 cell offers up to a 10 year life, with a 12 month calibration period, though cell life is affected by exposure, temperature and humidity.
