The dPM-RT is a rugged, portable real-time diesel particulate matter analyser that instantly measures fine particulate concentrations in diesel exhaust using laser light-scattering technology. It is built for mining workshops and meets NSW MDG 29 and QLD Government testing requirements.
KEY BENEFITS
- Instant measurement of fine particulate levels in diesel exhaust
- Easy to use with on-screen prompts and under 10 minutes of training
- Built for the rugged demands of mining sites
- Meets NSW MDG 29 and QLD Government testing requirements
- Auto-generates and displays Stall or Free Acceleration test results

Instant, Reliable Diesel Particulate Testing for the Workshop
Targeted engine maintenance can dramatically reduce Diesel Particulate Matter (DPM) emissions, a proven contributor to serious lung and heart disease and a WHO Class 1 carcinogen. The dPM-RT gives ventilation officers and workshop staff the tool they need to reliably identify high emitters and validate the effectiveness of emissions-related maintenance.
Using advanced laser light-scattering technology, the dPM-RT accurately and instantly measures particulate mass concentrations in exhaust from all engine types. It is pre-programmed to run standardised Stall and Free Acceleration tests in as little as one minute, guiding the operator through the procedure, processing the data and producing an overall result automatically.
The instrument is highly automated, with a single press-button to initiate and run a test, so maintenance personnel can use it as an everyday workshop tool after less than ten minutes of training. Routine maintenance is limited to checking and periodically replacing one disposable filter.
Designed to handle the rugged demands of mining sites, the dPM-RT runs on an internal battery or 240 V supply, ships in a heavy-duty protective carry case and is backed by Australian-based spare parts and support. It meets NSW MDG 29 and QLD Government testing requirements.
