The SharpEye 40/40M Multi IR flame detector is designed for detection of hydrocarbon and hydrogen flames at long distances with the highest immunity to false alarms. The 40/40M IR3 can detect a gasoline pan fire at 65m or a hydrogen flame at 30m in under 5 seconds.

Long-range multi-spectrum detection for hydrocarbon and hydrogen flames
The 40/40M Multi IR flame detector is specifically designed for detection of hydrocarbon and hydrogen flames, detecting fuel and gas fires at long distances with the highest immunity to false alarms.
The 40/40M IR3 can detect a gasoline pan fire at 215 ft (65m) or a hydrogen flame at 100 ft (30m) in less than 5 seconds, combining long-distance coverage with sensitivity selection to prevent zone crossover detection.
As part of the durable, weather-resistant 40/40 Series, it features a heated window, HART digital communications, lower power requirements and a 5-year warranty, and is approved to IEC 61508 SIL2.
