Continuous, intrinsically safe VOC monitoring for hazardous areas
The TVOC is the first fixed ATEX approved photoionisation detector (PID) for the continuous detection and measurement of total volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Its intrinsically safe design means there is no need for an explosion proof enclosure, and its patented Fence Electrode Technology delivers high sensitivity with resistance to humidity and contamination.
With an intelligent 4-20 mA analogue output, TVOC can be simply integrated into a DCS control system to give warning or control of high VOC levels in the working environment. A selectable detection range of 0-10, 0-100 or 0-1000 ppm and a 10.6 eV lamp make it flexible across applications.
TVOC uses a diffusive sample technique that results in fewer contamination issues than pumped systems, reducing lamp cleaning and servicing requirements. It is simple to install, service and calibrate, requires no hot work permit, and the PID sensor is accessible and changeable in a matter of seconds. Although this product is no longer available for sale, it remains supported by Gastech Technical Services and Support.
