One Monitor for Personal Protection and Confined Space Entry
The Ventis MX4 was built to solve a common problem on Australian worksites: workers who need a personal gas monitor for daily wear but also need a pumped instrument for confined space pre-entry sampling. The Ventis MX4 handles both. In its standard diffusion configuration it is compact enough to wear comfortably throughout a full shift. With the optional slide-on pump or integral pump, it becomes a capable confined space pre-entry monitor that can draw samples from up to 30 metres away. One instrument, two functions, without the cost of carrying two separate devices.
The sensor range goes beyond the standard four-gas configuration. While the standard setup monitors combustible gas, O2, CO and H2S, the Ventis MX4 supports interchangeable sensors including SO2, NO2, CO with H2 resistance and pentane LEL, giving operators the flexibility to configure the instrument for the specific hazard profile of their site. Sensors are field-interchangeable and the monitor detects the new configuration immediately upon installation.

The Ventis MX4 carries a 4-year warranty on the monitor and standard four-gas sensors, a longer warranty than most comparable 4-gas monitors. Combined with the ability to upgrade firmware, replace batteries and swap sensors, the Ventis MX4 is designed to deliver a lower lifetime cost than disposable or shorter-warranty alternatives. Fleet Management Made Simple
The Ventis MX4 is compatible with the DSXi Docking Station, which automatically bump tests, calibrates, charges and uploads gas monitor data each time a monitor is docked. Dock overdue and maintenance reminders keep fleet compliance on track without manual tracking. For larger fleets, iNet Exchange removes the maintenance burden entirely by reviewing monitor performance and shipping replacement units directly when needed.
