Docking Station for ARA-X4 Gas Detectors
The ARA-X Docking Station by ION Science is a bump test and calibration station for the ARA-X4 multi gas detector. Single button operation runs bump tests, calibration and alarm verification, and the dock automatically logs the serial number, test date and time. A universal cradle suits all ARA-X4 sensor configurations, and an internal battery gives up to 4 hours of standalone use without mains power.

Automated Compliance for the ARA-X4
The ARA-X Docking Station takes the hassle out of ARA-X4 maintenance. Place the ARA-X4 in the cradle and press the button. The station runs the bump test, calibration and alarm verification automatically.
It also logs the ARA-X4’s serial number, test date and time, so records are kept without manual entry. An LED progress indicator shows each step, and red and green LEDs show the result.
One Cradle for All Configurations
The universal cradle suits all ARA-X4 instruments, whatever sensors are fitted. Multiple gas inlet ports, with three span inlets and one zero inlet, mean an instrument can be calibrated without swapping gas connections. Two built in pumps draw gas at 150 to 600 mL/min.
Built for Quick Deployment
The internal Li-ion battery gives up to 4 hours of standalone use, so the dock can be set up quickly in the field without mains power. For permanent installations, it runs on continuous power from its 12 V adapter. Its desk mounted design keeps turnaround times quick.
Data and Updates
Test records save to an external USB memory stick, with a time and date stamp. The dock connects through Ethernet, USB-A and USB-B, and user configurable firmware and configuration updates are loaded via USB flash drive.
The ARA-X Docking Station comes with a 12 month warranty, extendable to 24 months when registered on the ION Science website. It’s designed for use in non hazardous locations.
