The DSX Docking Station by Industrial Scientific is an automated gas monitor maintenance, record storage and fleet management solution that adapts to the way your business works. Choose DSX Standalone, DSXi Cloud Connected or DSX-L Local Server, depending on where you want your data. All three automatically charge, bump test and calibrate compatible instruments when they’re docked.

One Platform. Three Modes.
The DSX Docking Station is built around a simple idea: when a gas monitor is docked, everything that needs to happen happens automatically. Charging, bump testing, calibration, settings, software updates and data upload all run without anyone pressing a button. Instruments go in at the end of a shift and come out ready for the next one.
All three DSX modes use the same core hardware and give the same automatic maintenance. What changes is where data is stored, how it’s accessed and what management features come with it.
Choosing the Right Mode
DSX Standalone is the most cost effective option. It needs no PC, network or setup to get started. Records are stored directly on a USB flash drive in the station. With a direct connect printer, bump and calibration certificates print automatically, which is useful for confined space entry and hot work permits. A DSXi activation key upgrades the Standalone to cloud connected mode in the field, with no hardware changes.
DSXi Cloud Connected stores data securely in the cloud, with automatic backup and easy recovery. Bump test and calibration schedules are set and tracked from any web enabled device, and email alerts cover worker exposure, instrument usage and service needs. Fleet management and updates are handled remotely. For iNet Exchange customers, the DSXi links directly to iNet to automate instrument review and replacement. It carries ISC’s Guaranteed for Life warranty.
DSX-L Local Server stores all data behind your corporate firewall, for organisations whose IT policies or network restrictions rule out cloud storage. It offers the scheduling, automated maintenance and reporting of the DSXi, with data kept inside your own infrastructure. It suits large enterprises, government sites and organisations with strict IT security requirements.
Calibration Gas Management
The DSX detects the calibration gas type and expiration date automatically when a cylinder is connected, using a demand flow regulator with an iGas pressure switch. Gas status indicators warn when it’s time to order more before a cylinder runs out.
For DSXi users, an optional automatic calibration gas replenishment program ships new cylinders when they’re needed.
Compatible Instruments
The DSX works with Industrial Scientific’s GasBadge Pro, MX6 iBrid, Tango TX1, Ventis MX4, Ventis Pro Series and the SafeCore Module used in the Radius BZ1. The 3 port version suits all of these. The 6 port version, with five calibration gas ports, is for Ventis, MX6 iBrid and SafeCore instruments.
