Single Gas Detector Docking Station
The ARA DOCK4 by ION Science is an automatic test and calibration station for ARA single gas detectors. With one button, it runs bump tests, calibration, buzzer and LED tests and data log transfers on up to four detectors at once. It records results with the serial number, date and time for compliance, and an internal battery gives about 5 hours of operation away from mains power.

Four ARA Detectors. One Button.
For sites running several ARA single gas detectors, testing them one by one takes time. The ARA DOCK4 tests up to four ARA detectors at once, with a single button press.
It handles the essential maintenance tasks: bump testing, calibration, buzzer testing, LED testing and data log transfers. Each result is recorded with the detector’s serial number, date and time, creating a compliance record without manual data entry.
Compatible ARA Detectors
The DOCK4 works with ARA 100, 100H, 200, 200H, 300 and 400 single gas detectors, covering H2S, CO, O2 and SO2. Detectors are recognised automatically through IrDA communication.
The DOCK4 uses one calibration gas cylinder, held in the dock with a pressure gauge to show remaining gas. To test detectors for different gases in the same session, use a cylinder that contains all the gases they need. ION recommends span gas concentrations of 25 ppm H2S, 100 ppm CO, 18% O2 and 10 ppm SO2, and these can be adjusted.
Simple to Run, Easy to Manage
Unit LEDs show the status of each detector during testing. The DOCK4 runs on a 12 V mains adapter, and its internal rechargeable battery gives about 5 hours of continuous operation with four detectors docked.
Event logs are stored on an internal 16 GB USB memory stick. Connected to a PC, the Dock4Manager software lets authorised users change test settings and span gas values, read event and test logs, and upgrade firmware.
The DOCK4 has a full 2 year warranty from the date of shipment. It’s designed for use in non hazardous locations only.

The ARA DOCK4 tests up to four ARA single gas detectors simultaneously in a single session.
The DOCK4 works with ARA 100, 100H, 200, 200H, 300 and 400 single gas detectors. It isn't compatible with the ARA-X4 multi gas detector. For the ARA-X4, use the ARA-X Docking Station.
Testing up to four detectors in one session cuts testing time compared with testing them one by one. Gas use depends on the test settings and the cylinder used. Talk to our Technical Consultants about the right cylinder for your fleet.
No. The ARA DOCK4 is rated for use in non-hazardous locations only.
Yes, as long as the calibration gas cylinder contains all the gases needed. The DOCK4 holds one cylinder, so a mixed fleet of H2S, CO, O2 and SO2 detectors needs a suitable mixed gas cylinder.
