The First Upgradeable Multi-Gas PID for VOC and Toxic Gas Detection
FirstCheck+ is the first PID multi-gas instrument to combine volatile organic compound (VOC) detection with traditional multi-gas sensors for oxygen, hydrogen sulphide, carbon monoxide and explosive gases. Its unique patented Fence Electrode Technology uses a three-electrode format for proven resistance to humidity and contamination.
An inert flow path routes the sample through the PID first, then the multi-gas module, before exiting via the pump, giving a true response from all sensors without losses from absorption or delayed response. No software damping, filtering or auto-zeroing is used, so what the sensor sees is what the user sees.
Available in upgradeable versions from the low-cost 1000Ex through to the flagship 5000Ex, FirstCheck+ suits first response, confined space entry, HazMat, industrial, leak detection and fugitive emissions work.

It detects VOCs via its PID sensor plus oxygen (0-28%), carbon monoxide (1-1000 ppm), hydrogen sulphide (0.1-100 ppm) and explosive gases (0-100% LEL).
The FirstCheck+ 5000 can accurately detect VOCs from 1 ppb up to 10,000 ppm, enabling detection of gases toxic at very low ppb levels.
