Wireless Portable Multi-Gas Detector
The Honeywell MultiRAE is a pumped, wireless multi gas monitor that measures up to six gases at once from 25 interchangeable sensor options. It combines VOC detection via PID with toxic gases, combustibles, oxygen and CO2 in one instrument. Honeywell describes its PID as the best in its class, with a 0 to 5,000 ppm range and 0.1 ppm resolution, making it a strong choice for industrial hygiene, leak detection and HazMat response.

Broad Multi Gas Coverage With Wireless Visibility
The MultiRAE gives industrial hygienists, safety officers and field teams one instrument for a wide range of gas hazards. It takes 25 intelligent, interchangeable sensors, including a PID for VOCs, NDIR for combustibles and CO2, catalytic LEL, and electrochemical sensors for toxic gases and oxygen.
Workers choose the sensor combination that matches the hazards on their site. Intelligent sensors store their own calibration data, so they can be swapped in the field.
Advanced VOC Detection
The MultiRAE’s 10.6 eV PID measures VOCs from 0 to 5,000 ppm with 0.1 ppm resolution. On board libraries cover 190 VOCs and 55 combustible gases, so readings can be corrected for the specific compound being measured.
That makes it well suited to industrial hygiene, personal protection, leak detection and HazMat response, in industries such as chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, aviation and shipping.
Live Wireless Monitoring
With the optional built in wireless modem, the MultiRAE sends live gas readings and alarm status to ProRAE Guardian or an EchoView Host. Safety managers see what’s happening from any location, so the response can start as soon as an alarm goes off. Remote monitoring may need additional equipment or software licences.
Alarms come through five ways: a 95 dB buzzer, vibration, flashing red LEDs, an on screen message and a remote wireless notification. The Man Down alarm triggers a pre alarm, then a real time wireless notification if it isn’t cancelled.
Pumped Sampling, Easy Maintenance
The built in pump draws samples at an average of 250 cc/min and shuts off automatically if flow drops too low. That makes the MultiRAE suited to remote sampling as well as personal monitoring.
The AutoRAE 2 system handles fully automatic bump testing and calibration. Data download, setup and upgrades run through the desktop cradle, travel charger or AutoRAE 2. The MultiRAE logs data continuously, storing six months of readings for five sensors at one minute intervals.

The MultiRAE Lite is the entry-level instrument optimised for personal protection and leak detection in standard industrial applications. The MultiRAE is the mid-range instrument with broader sensor options and wireless capability suited to industrial hygiene and general industry. The MultiRAE Pro is the advanced instrument designed for homeland security, HazMat response and military applications, adding gamma radiation detection and the broadest sensor range.
