Wireless. Personal. Proven

The ToxiRAE Pro can detect a broad range of gases, from carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and oxygen to ammonia, chlorine, and formaldehyde. The ToxiRAE Pro provides safety professionals wireless remote access to real-time instrument readings and alarm status for better visibility and faster incident response. The ToxiRAE Pro’s intelligent interchangeable sensors store calibration data, which allows users to monitor for one gas one day and another gas the next, simply by swapping sensors as required. With over 20 interchangeable electrochemical sensors available, most of which are shared with the MultiRAE family of instruments, the ToxiRAE Pro gives safety teams genuine flexibility without the cost of carrying multiple dedicated instruments.

Built for Real-Time Visibility

The ToxiRAE Pro offers datalogging capability and is equipped with a Man Down alarm and policy enforcement to ensure greater safety, while making sure compliance-related procedures such as periodic testing and calibration are performed. Wireless connectivity gives safety managers anytime, anywhere access to real-time instrument readings and alarm status through ProRAE Guardian software or the EchoView Portable Controller, enabling faster incident response when it matters most.

Easy to Maintain, Built to Last

Compact, reliable and easy to use, the ToxiRAE Pro doesn’t get in the way of workers doing their job. It is rugged, water, dust and shock resistant, and compatible with the AutoRAE 2 system for fully automatic bump testing and calibration. The instrument’s largest in class display and intuitive two-button operation keep it simple to use in the field, while replaceable sensors, filters and battery keep ongoing maintenance straightforward.

Versatile Across Industries

Used across agriculture, chemical manufacturing, fire service and HazMat response, food and beverage, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, steel manufacturing and wastewater industries, the ToxiRAE Pro is one of the most widely deployed personal single gas monitors in demanding industrial environments worldwide.

Yes. The ToxiRAE Pro uses intelligent interchangeable electrochemical sensors that store their own calibration data. This allows you to swap sensors in the field and monitor for a different gas without recalibrating from scratch.

Yes. Most of the electrochemical sensors used in the ToxiRAE Pro are shared with the MultiRAE family of instruments, simplifying fleet management and reducing the number of spare sensors you need to stock.

Yes. The ToxiRAE Pro holds CSA, ATEX, IECEx and China Ex hazardous location approvals, making it suitable for use in classified hazardous environments.

The Man Down alarm detects if the instrument has been stationary or in an unusual position for a set period, triggering a pre-alarm followed by a real-time remote wireless notification if not cancelled, alerting others to a potential worker emergency.

Calibration can be performed automatically using the AutoRAE 2 Test and Calibration System or manually using the supplied calibration adapters.

The ToxiRAE Pro uses a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Operating time varies depending on sensor type and wireless usage, contact Gastech for specific runtime figures for your configuration.
