UNI 321
Single Gas Detector
The M-Power UNI 321 is a disposable, maintenance-free single gas detector available in 2-year (MP102) and 3-year (MP103) operating life models. Designed for workers who need reliable personal gas monitoring without the burden of ongoing servicing. It detects H2S, CO or O2 with no sensor replacements required for the life of the instrument. The MP102RT variant adds a hibernation feature that can extend the effective operating life up to three years, making it ideal for contractors and hire fleets where instruments are used intermittently. With IP67 protection, IECEx and ATEX certification, and a daily automatic self-test, the UNI 321 delivers dependable performance with minimal total cost of ownership.
KEY BENEFITS
- Simple GO, NO-GO operation
- Low cost of ownership
- No maintenance needed for the life of the instrument (except under extreme conditions)
- 50% larger single-cell battery
- 50 event data logging

The Maintenance-Free Single Gas Detector Built for Real-World Use
The UNI 321 by M-Power is a disposable, maintenance-free single gas detector designed for workers who need reliable personal gas monitoring without the time and cost associated with ongoing instrument servicing. It is available in multiple models with operating lives of 24 months (MP102) or 36 months (MP103), making it one of the most cost-effective single gas detector options available for high-volume or remote deployments.
The MP102RT variant adds a hibernation feature that allows the instrument to be deactivated between jobs, extending the effective operating life up to a total of three years from a two-year base model. This makes it particularly well-suited to contractors and hire fleets where instruments may be used intermittently rather than daily.
Display and Alarm System
The UNI 321 features a large, easy-to-read LCD that provides maximum readability in the field. The MP102 and MP103 models display remaining operating time, while the MP102RT displays real-time gas concentrations. Six bright red LEDs deliver instant visual alarm notification, supported by a 95dB audible alarm and a built-in vibration alert, ensuring workers are alerted even in loud industrial environments.
The detector performs a daily automatic self-test to confirm all alarm systems are functioning correctly. With 50-event data logging onboard, alarm history can be retrieved using a docking station or IR reader for reporting and compliance purposes.
Rugged and Ready
Built from strong, impact-resistant materials, the UNI 321 is designed to be comfortable to wear while being tough enough to withstand the drops and knocks of daily industrial use. Its stainless steel alligator clip provides secure attachment to clothing or PPE. The unit is rated IP67 for dust and water ingress protection and is certified for use in hazardous locations under IECEx, ATEX, and UL Class I Division 1 classifications.
Bump testing and calibration are straightforward using the UNI Single Docking Box or the 4-bay CaliCase system, both of which also support configuration and event data download.

No. The UNI 321 is designed to be maintenance-free for the life of the instrument under normal operating conditions. No sensor replacements or servicing are required.
The MP102 and MP103 models display remaining operating time rather than real-time concentration. The MP102RT model displays real-time gas concentrations. If a concentration readout is required, the MP102RT or the UNI MP100 are the appropriate choices.
Yes. The UNI 321 is compatible with the UNI Single Docking Box and the 4-bay CaliCase system (MP300T1), which allow bump testing, calibration, configuration and event data download.
The UNI 321 holds IECEx, ATEX and UL hazardous location certifications. It is rated for Class I Division 1, Groups ABCD; Class II Division 1, Groups EFG; and Class III Division 1.
The UNI 321 stores up to 50 alarm events onboard. These can be downloaded using a UNI Docking Box, CaliCase system or a separate IR reader.
The MP102 has a 24-month operating life and the MP103 has a 36-month operating life. Both detect H2S, CO or O2 depending on the model selected. The MP102RT is a 2-year model with a hibernation feature that can extend operation up to a total of 3 years.
