The UNI MP100 by M-Power is a portable, personal single gas detector designed for workers who need reliable toxic gas monitoring across a broader range of gases than most single gas instruments support. Beyond the common sensors found in most personal monitors, the MP100 supports a wide range of less-common toxic gases, making it one of the most versatile single gas detectors available in the Australian market.
Unlike the disposable UNI 321, the MP100 is a fully serviceable instrument with a user-replaceable sensor and battery. CO and H2S sensors have a typical operating life of five years, while other sensors carry a one to two year warranty. This makes the MP100 a cost-effective long-term option for operations that require continuous personal gas monitoring.
Display and Monitoring
The MP100 displays real-time gas concentration continuously on a large, easy-to-read LCD. Beyond the live reading, the instrument also monitors and displays STEL, TWA and peak values on demand, providing the data needed for compliance reporting and incident investigation. High, Low, STEL and TWA alarm thresholds are all user-configurable.
Six bright red LEDs provide immediate visual alarm notification alongside a 95dB audible alarm and a built-in vibration alert, ensuring workers are alerted even in high-noise environments.
Serviceability and Calibration
The MP100 is designed to be simple to maintain in the field. The sensor and battery are both user-replaceable, reducing downtime and service costs. Bump testing and calibration are straightforward using the mPower Single Docking Box or the 4-Bay CaliCase system, both of which also support configuration and alarm event download. Data can also be downloaded using mPower Suite software for compliance record-keeping.
With IP67 ingress protection and certifications for IECEx, ATEX and UL Class I Division 1 hazardous locations, the MP100 is rated for use in the most demanding industrial environments.
