The Eagle 2 is a one-to-six gas portable monitor with a powerful pump that draws samples from up to 38 metres. It supports PID, infrared, thermal conductivity and smart toxic sensors for VOCs, hydrocarbons, CO2, methane, hydrogen and confined-space gases.
KEY BENEFITS
- Monitor up to 6 different autoranging gases
- PPM / LEL hydrocarbon detection at the push of a button
- PID sensor for low and high range VOC detection
- Infrared sensors available for CO2, % LEL and % Vol CH4 and HC
- Thermal conductivity sensor for % Vol H2 or % Vol CH4

Versatile one-to-six gas monitoring for almost any application
The Eagle 2 is equipped with features not available on competitive units and does far more than offer standard confined space protection. It can monitor up to six autoranging gases, with a PID sensor for detecting high and low ppm levels of VOC gases and % volume capability for methane and hydrogen using a thermal conductivity sensor.
Infrared sensors detect CO2, methane or hydrocarbons in LEL and % volume ranges, and a methane elimination feature supports environmental applications. A strong internal pump with low-flow auto shut-off and alarm can draw samples from up to 38 metres for quick response from distant sampling locations.
The Eagle 2 runs for over 16 hours on alkaline batteries or 20 hours on Ni-MH. Datalogging is standard for all sensors, and the rugged, ergonomic enclosure with large glove-friendly buttons gives easy access to autocalibration, alarm silence, peak hold and more. It is intrinsically safe with CSA approval.

The Eagle 2 can monitor up to six different autoranging gases, using a combination of catalytic, electrochemical, galvanic, infrared, PID and thermal conductivity sensors.
Its powerful long-life pump can draw samples from over 38 metres, with a low-flow auto shut-off and alarm to protect the instrument, allowing quick response from distant locations.
A PID sensor detects low and high ppm VOC levels, infrared sensors handle CO2, methane and hydrocarbons in LEL and % volume ranges, and a thermal conductivity sensor measures % volume hydrogen or methane.
It runs continuously for over 16 hours on alkaline batteries or 20 hours on Ni-MH batteries at 21 degrees C.
Yes. It has an intrinsically safe design with CSA approval for Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C and D.
