The Honeywell MiniRAE 3000+ is a comprehensive handheld VOC monitor that uses third generation patented PID technology to measure VOCs from 0 to 15,000 ppm, with a 3 second response. It combines Reflex PID Technology, humidity compensation and a choice of 9.8 eV, 10.6 eV or 11.7 eV lamps. With a built in wireless modem, BLE app support, six months of datalogging and an IP67 design, it suits oil and gas, hazmat, industrial safety, civil defence and environmental work.

Comprehensive VOC Monitoring in the ppm Range
The MiniRAE 3000+ is a comprehensive handheld VOC monitor. It uses third generation patented PID technology to measure VOCs across a full range of 0 to 15,000 ppm, with a 3 second response.
It sits above the MiniRAE Lite+ in the RAE Systems range. Where the Lite+ covers 0 to 5,000 ppm, the MiniRAE 3000+ triples the range, adds a built in wireless modem and offers a choice of three PID lamps.
Accurate in Real Field Conditions
Reflex PID Technology and built in humidity and temperature sensors keep readings accurate as conditions change. Humidity is one of the most common causes of inaccurate PID readings, especially outdoors, in confined spaces and in coastal environments.
Correction factors let the MiniRAE 3000+ give readings for specific compounds, not just total VOCs.
Three Lamp Options
The 10.6 eV lamp is standard and covers the widest range of common VOCs. A 9.8 eV lamp is available for applications focused on compounds with lower ionisation energies, such as aromatics. An 11.7 eV lamp detects compounds with higher ionisation energies that the 10.6 eV lamp can’t.
Wireless and Data
The MiniRAE 3000+ has a built in wireless modem for real time data connectivity. It can connect to ProRAE Guardian or an EchoView Host over the RAE Systems mesh network, with a typical range of up to 200 metres. A BLE module and dedicated app add enhanced datalogging over short range.
It logs six months of data at one minute intervals. Data and setup can also be transferred to a PC through the charging cradle. Calibration memory stores settings for up to 8 calibration gases.
Built for Demanding Field Conditions
The rugged housing is IP67 rated when switched off and IP65 when running, with a durable bright yellow rubber boot. A built in flashlight helps in dark spaces, and the lamp and sensor can be reached quickly for maintenance.
The field replaceable Li-ion battery runs for 16 hours, or 12 hours on the alkaline adapter. The internal pump draws 500 cc/min and samples from up to 30 metres, with automatic shut off at low flow.
