Maintenance-Free Protection That Just Works
The BW Clip is built around a simple idea: turn it on and let it run. No calibration, no sensor replacement, no battery charging and no scheduled servicing for the life of the instrument. Once activated, the BW Clip operates continuously for up to three years depending on the gas and model selected, giving workers reliable single gas protection without the ongoing maintenance burden associated with serviceable instruments.
Extend Service Life with Hibernation Mode
For the two-year H2S or CO models, the BW Clip includes a hibernation feature. If the device won’t be used for a week or more, it can be placed in a dedicated hibernation case, pausing the operating life countdown for up to 12 months. This is particularly useful for turnarounds, short-term projects or covering staff leave, effectively extending the instrument’s usable life beyond its standard activation period.
SureCell Sensor Technology
At the core of the BW Clip is SureCell, Honeywell’s unique dual reservoir sensor design. Compared to traditional electrochemical sensors, SureCell delivers dramatically improved performance, faster response time and greater longevity, while maintaining reliable readings under harsh environmental conditions. Reflex Technology adds an automated self-test function that routinely checks sensor condition, increasing safety, uptime and worker confidence in the instrument.
Built for Fleet Management and Compliance
The BW Clip is compatible with both the MicroDock II and IntelliDoX instrument management systems, supporting fast, accurate bump testing and record keeping. IntelliDoX in particular allows up to 50 detectors to be bump tested in under three minutes, along with the ability to adjust alarm set points, track compliance and manage an entire fleet of instruments efficiently. Configuration options include adjustable high and low alarm set points, a user-settable bump test reminder, optional display of gas readings during alarm events and an optional real-time clock display.
